Welcome to the Aberdeen Formation Evaluation Society - a chapter of the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts (SPWLA).

Aberdeen Formation Evaluation Society wishes it's members the very best wishes for 2010 as we take a seasonal break, returning on Wednesday 13th January with a presentation by George Williamson on "Innovative coring technology and handling techniques for better quality core". This should be an interesting talk for both old hands and those new to the industry so be sure to make it to the Station Hotel.

The 2009 lecture series ended with our Annual Quiz, which raised a tremendous £2629 for the Archie Fund. Sincere thanks to all of our sponsors and raffle prize donators, and of course to our membership for making the event so memorable. Team score rankings are available here.
